4.0 out of 5 stars, "Perfect Title!" Apr 19, 2012 By Liz
This is a sweet compilation of short stories that deliver exactly what the title suggests. Just when you think for SURE that you have the story figured out, it's not what it seems. After reading each one, I pondered for a moment and then went back and reread them. If you enjoy cute twists, you'll love this book. It took maybe an hour to read the entire book, but it was an hour well spent and I'd love to read another book by this author!

5.0 out of 5 stars, "Lovely!" Dec 4, 2012 By Lisa R
This is a great collection of intriguing short stories with delightful twists; short and sweet with enough suspense to keep me reading. The first and the last were my particular favorites.

4.0 out of 5 stars, "Question Reality". Apr 16, 2012 By Peggy A
These were good stories. The length is perfect for those times when you want to relax for a few minutes, but don't have enough time to dive in and really enjoy a good novel. The stories are quick reads, and it is fun to see if you can guess the surprise (twist) before you get to the end. A little of the slang didn't translate well to American English, but you get the gist of the idea from context. If not, you'll know what is meant by the end of the story! As back-up, the words are very easy to find on the "ask" site. I can't say more without spoiling the stories, and you'll want to enjoy these. It's not often such short stories cause you to question your thinking.

5.0 out of 5 stars, "Excellent short stories", May 14, 2012 By Lee - (Kindle Edition)
This is a great variety of short stories if you're looking for a fast read. I was going to limit myself to one per sitting but every time I finished one story, I had to go on to the next. I came close to predicting one twist but the rest hit me between the eyes—and yet they all made sense. I loved being surprised by these stories.

4.0 out of 5 stars TEATIME TWISTS, May 23, 2012 By JSS - (Kindle Edition)
Jennifer Hanning is fantastic writer who has once again created great characters with humor and a bit of intrigue. Although not as involving as her novels, these stories are well told and the writing style is down to earth, interesting and elegant. If you want to sit, relax, and enjoy a good short read then Teatime Twists is perfect for you. Each story is easy to follow and very addictive, difficult to put down. Once I finished one story I had to go on to the next, in fact I read the entire collection in one night! I must admit that I do prefer the excitement and intensity of Jennifer's full length novels, however I found Teatime Twists to be a fabulous read and as the title suggests ... with surprising unexpected twists! Love the cover too it makes you want to open the book and get reading!

4.0 out of 5 stars, "Great short stores", May 28, 2012 By The Knitter - (Kindle Edition)
I was fortunate to get this as a free download for my Kindle. The stories are well written and all have surprise endings! I quickly read all five stores one right after the other! Each story "holds it's own" and held my attention to the end. Extremely good stories for when you don't have much time to read. Well worth t he download IMHO. I can't say much more without giving anything away. I hope you enjoy these stories as much as I did.

5.0 out of 5 stars, "Written like a great piece of music", Sep 10 2012 By Mr Dead
I read this on recommendation of a good friend. It is a collection of short stories and I think it is a great introduction to this writer's work. I have more of her books to read. As the title suggests the stories have twists and they are great twists and I have to say very inventive. There are a few stories within this collection that are written like a great piece of music and two stories stood out in this collection for me, Emma's Dilemma and The Addict. Why like a great piece of music? Because they end on a single note. The whole thing comes to a conclusion around a single sentence, a single beat, and I have to say I love that. Read these, I'm sure you will love them too.

5 out of 5 stars, "Excellent Short Story Collection", Dec 18 2012, By Shelly Hammond
This is a wonderful collection of five short stories that all have surprise twists at the end. You don't really know what is happening until the very end, and it's perfect! The author has a great way with words and draws you in to each and every story in a short amount of time so that when the end comes, you are completely taken aback by the things that happen (I am trying not to give anything away here!). If you enjoy short stories and you like endings that will be sure to leave you with a smile on your face because you just didn't see it coming, then this book is for you! I would recommend this to everyone of all ages and I'm looking forward to seeing what other types of books and stories this author has written as she has a lovely writing style.

4.0 out of 5 stars "Very humorous", Jun 14, 2012 By Sandra Henry (Virginia Beach, VA,)
A humorous collection of short stories. There are several main characters which are carried through the stories. The tales often have a startling twist at the end.

4.0 out of 5 stars, "Fresh and intriguing", Jun 25, 2012 By M.T. (Kindle Edition)
I thoroughly enjoyed each of the five stories told by Hanning. She brings a level of cleverness and intrigue to each tale in addition to a well edited text (which isn't always the case with e-published books). I also appreciate the dash of humor and suspense each story conveys. Teatime Twists is well worth your time!

5.0 out of 5 stars "Loved them!", Jul 22, 2012 By Bon Rose
Just as the title suggests there is a twist and it's not just a small twist either! Very creative writing I must say. I especially loved the very first one. Quick reads and lots of fun. You may want to read them again, I did! And I also love the cover :)

5.0 out of 5 stars, "Wonderful Collection", By Roger Nobles
I'm not usually drawn to short stories, but I love this author, so decided to try Teatime Twists, and I'm really glad I did. Ms Hanning weaves character development with a fluid presentation of the plot in a concise manner to pull off a complete story in fewer words. Each story is like a elegant meal, savory, enjoyable, and very satisfying. Highly recommend this book and everything else Jennifer Hanning writes, she is a 10-star wordweaver.
