Originally from a large family in New
Zealand, Jennifer Hanning moved to Melbourne, Australia in her early 20s.
Amongst other roles, she was a technical writer in the computer software industry for many years,
eventually leaving the corporate world to indulge in her first passion, fiction writing.
As part of her career change, Jennie took up Yoga and Meditation studies, graduating with an
Advanced Diploma. These days, she enjoys the balance of teaching Yoga and Meditation in
the mornings, and researching and writing in the afternoons.
Her first book in the Personal Development genre, Stepping Stones to Meditation,
linked her two new careers. This beginner's guide to improved health and happiness was followed by Themed Meditations. She is in the process
of writing her tenth book, another novel.
With the immeasurable help of her partner, who is also her best friend, Jennie produces her own Relaxation and Meditation
visualisations on CDs and in mp3 format.
